Project:

Sears Shoe Vertical Redesign

Details:

Was tasked to redefine the look and feel of the Sears.com image in the shoe industry by redesigning the main vertical and leading the design on the following content pages for shoes.  Art directed photography and tone of page as well as created an overall style guide for future additions.  Worked very tastefully and tactfully to meet the needs and desires of Business, User Experience, and the merchants.  New page launches 2/17.

Eidia Lush - business creation, visual design, UXA, product development, branding and marketing initiatives

Details:

Started my own e-commerce interactive website that allows users to custom design women’s shoes and have them hand-created by cobblers in our studio.  Did all branding, visual design, site architecture, as well as online and offline marketing.  Also did all product research and development.  Worked hands on creating prototypes as well as testing products and ideas.

Sears Local Marketplace

Project:

Sears Local Marketplace - concepts, visual design

Details:

Worked with a User Experience Architect to create the concept and functionality of a Local Marketplace on Sears.com.  Created the entire user interface and flow.  Restructured the main filters, changed availabilty messaging, and made improvements to the checkout process for these unique customers.

Brainwaves

Project:

Brainwaves - application design, brand development, logo design

Details:

Presented the idea of passive date collection via context-relevant questions throughout a user’s experience on Sears.com.  Developed brand image and designed logo to represent these "surveys" that will appear.

Sears Marketplace Seller Portal Homepage

Project:

Sears Seller Portal Homepage - art direction, visual design

Details:

Was brought into the project after launch to redesign the homepage.  Showed the difference between each complex program through simple visuals and quick-witted copy.  Brought in much more vibrant colors than the previous design which in return more resembled the look and feel of new Sears image.  This homepage will be going live on 2/17.

Details:

Was hired to create the brand image and website for, professional Chicago Copy Writer, Nancy Hammond.  Designed site to be one scrolling page that is easily navigated.  Created entire brand image for her freelance company based on her style of writing and personality.

Sears Marketplace - art direction, visual design

Details:

Was Lead Visual Designer on the entire Sears Marketplace project.  Worked closely with User Experience Architects and Front-End Developers to come up with all the functions and visual treatments for every condition of how Third-Party vendors can sell products on Sears.com.

Project:

Sears Universal Profile - art direction, visual design, UXA

Details:

Was Lead Visual Designer on project involving the complete overhaul of several Sears Holdings website’s profile sections.  Lead the creation of wires and did visual design for entirely new concept of a Universal Profile that uses a dashboard approach to easily navigate and recognize cross-brand.  Started new look and feel for Sears.com and partner sites using this profile design as the first step.

Kmart Navigation Concept

Project:

Kmart Header - visual design and re-branding concept

Details:

Was tasked to concept and create visual designs for a redesign of the current Kmart header and more importantly, navigation.  Chose to go with a horizontal nav that separated each category into a larger bucket that drops down on hoover.  Also created a visual hierarchy to the links by giving different types of links different treatments and colors.

LeadBay

LeadBay - website visual design, UXA, and branding concept

Details:

Created an internal auctioning website to bring added culture to the company.  Site was designed to be fun, yet organized and helpful.  Site was also designed to feel personal to each employee and therefore, be customizable.

Wholesale Mortgage Rates - visual design, UXA

Details:

Was asked to create an entirely new spin on the mortgage industry by showing clients actual “live” wholesale mortgage rates, without all of the mark-ups.  It is only available to people with the best credit and LTV situations.  It’s an exclusive wholesale rate that won’t be as low anywhere else.  Site was designed to appeal to these rate shoppers and financially savy users.

Project:

One Reverse Mortgage - visual design, photography direction

Details:

Was challenged to create a user-friendly website that targets both the senior citizen audience and their children/grandchildren.  The website needed to have a similar style guide to that of it’s partner company, Quicken Loans, while having certain components that remain unique to Reverse Mortgages. Final design captures both audiences while staying just within the boundaries of the Quicken Loans style.  Conducted photos shoots to capture the real lives of senior citizens and used these photos heavily throughout the site to connect with potential users.

Capital Markets Trading

Details:

Was tasked to create a website that appeals to financial and trading professionals.  Captial Markets is for members only and requires a password to enter.  Design needed to be clean and organized while having an information-based look and feel. 

Color Causes

Project:

Color Causes  - visual design, original concept, name and brand creation

Details:

Asked to design an edgy, interactive micro-site and brand for a new cause marketing campaign.  Final chosen concept involved allowing the user to choose the color of their choice based on which cause it represents.  Mondy will then be donated to that cause on their behalf.  Micro-site and concept were designed to be informative as well as relate in some way - through one of the causes - with each user.  Color Causes can also be used to create a huge word-of-mouth campaign and can be expected to create major buzz in the social media world.

Details:

Created an email template for a campaign targeted towards real estate agents - giving them inside tips on what’s going on in the market.  Email template needed to relate to their website, www.inhouserealtyonline.com.

Home Purchase Insider

Project:

Home Purchase Insider - email campaign design, logo design

Details:

Created an email template that is used in a 12-email series to capture potential first-time home buyers who are currently in the market.  Template was designed to be friendly and information is displayed in an organized matter that is easy to understand.

Source Solutions

Details:

Created a B2B email campaign that shares Title Source’s expertise in the industry with other businesses.  Was designed to appear simple and colorful while remaining professional.

Project:

Quicken Loans Welcome Email - visual design

Details:

Created an email design that very simply explains the process of getting a mortgage with Quicken Loans.  It is currently sent out to clients as a first form of contact.  This email sets the tone for their entire relationship with Quicken Loans and introduces them to the company.

Cox Mortgage Center - visual design within a 3rd party site
 

Details:

Created a mortgage center within Cox.net that features Quicken Loans as a mortgage expert.  Gave the user the tools to see if a mortgage makes sense for them at the moment.  Designed the center to match the Quicken Loans look and feel while also maintaining a similar style of Cox’s overall site.  The mortgage center lives in the middle of Cox’s wrapped navigation so best use of the space was essential.

Quicken Loans 7 Simple Steps - visual design

Details:

Created a specific page on the Quicken Loans website that explains the loan process step-by-step in a clean, organized, and friendly way. Page was designed to appear warm and inviting as well as extremely easy to understand.

Project:

All or Nothing Tattoo Studio - visual design, copywriting

Details:

Designed 3 unique advertisements for a tattoo/art studio campaign targeting women.  The campaign was intended for your not-so-typical tattoo getters.  It instead, relates to the more socialite, artistic, feminine woman.  Copy was written to capture what could be actual moments or feelings in these women's lives.

Project:

Fleet Feet - visual design, copywriting

Designed 3 unique advertisments for custom shoe store highlighting the reasons why they are different than every other in their market.  Copy was written to reflect the specific reasons in a clever and enticing way.  Wanted to focus on runners and the things runners value by including textured and interestingly angled  photography.
